It seems as though New Year’s Day was yesterday, and January slipped under the wire with little notice from me. That’s probably because I devoted the month to editing many wonderful submissions for Mystical Interludes II. The stories continue to come in, and I am more than excited about the way the contents of the upcoming book are shaping up! (If you have a story, please get in touch with me here.)
In February, Jim and I flew to the big island of Hawaii to spend a few weeks with our daughter and also escape the cold weather in Pennsylvania. During our visit, Sara Kamibayashi, Head Librarian at Na’alehu Public Library, hosted a Mystical Interludes book event. What a warm and delightful experience it was! All the chairs were filled, and people stood behind and along the sides of the room. I look forward to receiving more story submissions from my friends there.
Shortly after returning home, I was honored to receive an email informing me that I have been selected for a three-person Spiritually Transformative Experiencers Panel at the national IANDS CONFERENCE (International Association for Near Death Studies) in Denver Colorado in August.
The March 7th book event at Bethel Park Library, competently arranged by Adult Services Librarian, Rob Kalchthaler, turned out to be another delightful evening. Again all the chairs were filled, and the response was warm and engaging. I look forward to returning to Bethel Library on Thursday, October 5th for another book talk.
Happy Spring!
